When should I use Virtual Visit service?
For the conditions listed below
For serious conditions, patients need an ER visit. But most conditions aren’t serious. Even in borderline cases, it can take weeks to get an office appointment. Meanwhile, a nonurgent condition can become urgent.
A timely virtual visit with a doctor can identify who needs hands-on care right way and who can benefit from remote treatment without having to leave home.[2,3] If medication is needed, an e-script can be sent to the patient’s pharmacy.

What’s the Fee for Telemedicine Services?
With new high deductible, large out of pocket insurance plans, telemedicine reimbursement is unreliable, especially with the constantly changing state policies. Many states now have parity laws which require private payers to reimburse for telemedicine visits the same way as in-person visits.
At Josey Medical Clinic, patients directly pay a service fee to the Clinic (Call us to find out about Service fee). We encourage our patients to call their insurance and find out the coverages under their plan.
